It's that time of year again

Our season usually begins with celebrating a birthday. B'n's favorite meal of the day is breakfast so here we are at the Fort Garry Hotel. Yummmmmmmm

Our B'n has turned "27" and this event is sealed with a kiss and a party so I guess it's official.
This was the year for "manly" gifts. The only touch of femininity was the pink wrapping paper and of course, the recipient of the gifts.

Lots of people attended our party even royalty.. our very own Lady Archibald.

As well as Teacher Girl.

Grammy was able to spend Christmas eve and morning with us.

Maybe we can start a new tradition!

Christmas day brought B'n and her the boys..music man and his sidekick WWD.

Teacher girl brought her family Mr. Schmooze and Baxter boo.

The gifts were varied from tea towels to

Ribbon earrings

Way back when, actually 21 years ago, our B'n gave us an ornament made of macaroni. This ornament has been prominently displayed on our tree every year along with a few other macaroni creations that are constantly being moved from the front of the tree to the back.

However this year, I was given a wreath complete with bell made of pasta material, glue and paint....help it's tooooo heavy for the tree.
And our last Christmas celebration was on Dec 28th when out of town relatives came over for a visit.
Well, another year has passed us and even tho our hearts become heavy when we think of those no longer with us, I believe the lesson we can take with us this year is
"don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today".
Until next time...take care...and enjoy one another.
